Immigrant-Owned Businesses Building America

Every name on this list is a real business, founded or led by an immigrant or refugee, that has grown large enough to employ real numbers of people — and that we could independently verify is giving something real back to its community, whether that’s fair wages, locally sourced products, or real charitable work.

How this list works: each entry needed a source for the founder’s immigration story, a source for the business’s real scale, and enough verifiable community-impact information — on employment, local sourcing, or charitable work — to build an honest profile. We’d rather list 18 businesses we can back up in full than pad this out with names we can’t. Click any business below for its full story. This is a living list — we’re researching and adding more, verified entry by entry. Last updated 2026-09-22.
